The Denim Group Dungarees

By Erhan K.

On Monday, the Denim Group attended the Advanced Training class for building accessible websites. Hosted by Knowbility, the session went over client-side web techniques to improve accessibility for non-profit organizations, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) , Section 508 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) procedures for building handicapped-accessible websites. In addition to going over HTML, CSS, and other client-side techniques for improved usability, the course introduced automated tools and general guidelines that improve the usability of a website for all members of society.

This is the inaugural year for the Accessibility Internet Rally in San Antonio and so far, at least four teams are participating, including our very own team, the Denim Group Dungarees. This contest has gone on for over ten years in Austin, and we’re proud to be among the first San Antonio teams to join in the fun.
